The Freedom Forum presented a panel discussion centered around “Raise Your Voice” as part of their First Five Now series of conversations that explores topical issues and features current newsmakers who are using the five freedoms of the First Amendment to guide their work.

 
 
 

RAISE YOUR VOICE AT MSPIFF39 REDEFINED (MAY 15-23, 2020)

Raise Your Voice screened as part of MSPIFF39 Redefined (Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival’s alternative virtual experience due to COVID19). The line-up included 50+ features and dozens of shorts originally slated to screen at the cancelled physical MSPIFF39.

On Sunday May 17th, the Star Tribune hosted an online Q&A about the film with Raise Your Voice director Maribeth Romslo and some of the characters in the film. Watch the recorded conversation here on MSPIFF’s Facebook Live.
